Nyein Soe
I was born in Yangon in 1989. I first studied painting under my father, the artist U Soe Htet. In 2005, I learned the fundamentals of comic art at Gold Dragon (now Mr. Blue) Company, and worked as a comic artist from 2005 to 2019. I then began creating paintings in 2017. Group Exhibitions: •September 3, 2022: Spectrum Art Vol. 1 Group Show •April 28, 2023: Painting and Sculpture Art Festival / Art Exhibition •July 26, 2023: TRIO Art Exhibition •November 9, 2024: The Last Masterpiece - FOCUS-01 Exhibition •March 1, 2025: Art in Motion (II) •March 26, 2025: Colorful Beams of Light - Art Exhibition Artistic Style & Concept: When creating my artwork, I combine pen and watercolor using the Line and Wash technique, and I also work with acrylic medium. The themes of my paintings are visual expressions born directly from my inner emotions and personal feelings.
