PERSONAL INFORMATION Date of Birth: May 16, 1981 EDUCATION & ART TRAINING Foundational Art: Learned portraiture and pencil sketching from an early age under the guidance of his father, Artist U Soe Htet. Academic Background: Obtained a Diploma in Arts from the National University of Arts and Culture (Yangon) in 2019. Specialized Training: Watercolor: Completed an online watercolor masterclass under Artist Myat Tun Aung. Acrylic & Palette Knife: Studied advanced acrylic and knife techniques under Artist Aung Naing Maung (ANM). Pastel: Inspired after watching a live demonstration by Master Artist Win Pe Myint at a DERWENT Art Supplies event; continued self-studying via YouTube, recognizing Master Win Pe Myint as his mentor from afar (Myin Sayar). WORK EXPERIENCE 2000 – 2010: Commissioned Charcoal Artist for art galleries across Myanmar, including Yangon (Bogyoke Market), Mandalay (U Bein), Inwa, and Kalaw. 2010 – 2012: Artist at Beauty Hand Co., Ltd. (Korea Comic Studio, Yangon Branch) – Body Edit Section. 2013 – 2018: Artist at Toom Studio (Korea Comic Studio) – Body Edit Colour Section. 2016 – Present: Freelance Portrait Artist (Accepting custom portrait commissions). 2019 – 2020: Charcoal Portrait Instructor at Charm Life, teaching foundational and advanced sketching techniques.
