In Her Arms
In In Her Arms, Kyi Aung Pi portrays an intimate moment between a mother and child, surrounded by a vivid world of fragmented forms, flowers, and figures. At the centre of the composition, the mother’s body curves around the resting child, creating a sense of protection and closeness. Through his distinctive geometric forms and layers of blue, Kyi Aung Pi transforms a familiar human bond into an expressive scene of tenderness, care, and connection. Created during ARTICO RESIDENCY 2026, In Her Arms reflects one of the most universal relationships — the quiet sense of safety found in a mother’s embrace.
