Bagan — Passage
In Bagan — Passage, Soe Moe Tun reimagines Bagan through fields of colour, fragmented forms, and two solitary figures moving through an abstracted environment. Rather than describing a specific monument or view, the work evokes the experience of passing through a place — where architecture, people, colour, and memory overlap. Bagan becomes less a fixed landscape and more a collection of impressions carried with us as we move through it. Created during ARTICO RESIDENCY 2026, the painting reflects Bagan as a place experienced, remembered, and continually reimagined.
