Artist Profile Haymar Sukyi was born in Bogale Township, Ayeyarwady Region, Myanmar. She graduated from Maubin University in 2008 with a Bachelor's Degree in Geography. In 2010, she began her professional career in the corporate sector as a Marketing Executive. Throughout her career, she attended various Marketing Management courses and diploma programs, steadily advancing to management-level positions. She worked in the corporate field until 2020. Since 2020, she has devoted herself to pursuing her long-standing passion for art. She studied painting from the fundamentals under the guidance of renowned artist U Win Pe (Aphyauk) and has remained deeply committed to developing her artistic practice. Artistic Vision and Creative Practice Haymar Sukyi is particularly inspired by the emotional experiences of women as well as her own personal reflections. Her works often explore feminine beauty, emotional depth, and meaningful narratives that resonate with human experiences. She is passionate about creating paintings that celebrate women's strength, dignity, and resilience. Many of her artworks reflect the idea that although a person may appear strong and confident on the outside, there can be a gentle and vulnerable inner world beneath the surface. Through her paintings, she seeks to express these subtle emotions and hidden layers of human nature.
