In this piece, I moved away from my usual atmospheric style to explore the power of geometric abstraction. By stripping the figure and the fish down to their essential, angular forms, I wanted to focus entirely on the relationship between them and the negative space they occupy.

After spending 18 years in Singapore, he returned to Myanmar, a transition that deeply informs his artistic practice. His work explores the intersection of identity and the self through a duality of atmospheric abstraction and structured figuration. Currently, he balances his creative practice with his role at SV Gallery, engaging in a continuous dialogue between contemporary art and his heritage.
