Void & Absence — 2026
The figure itself, sketched with an exposed, skeletal-like structure, represents a vulnerable core that persists despite the surrounding void. By labeling the work, I wanted to confront the reality of what remains when so much is stripped away. It is an exploration of the feeling of existing in a space where "absence" and the "void" are not just concepts, but tangible weights that we carry. This painting acts as an attempt to make the invisible sensation of loss or solitude visible on the canvas.
