Hsu Myat Thadar

My name is Hsu Myat Thadar, and I create under the name Artist DaDa. I was born in 2004 in Yangon, Myanmar, where I continue to find inspiration through everyday life, memories, and the natural beauty around me. I have been interested in art since 2015, and I began seriously painting in 2022. I volunteered at NAYAN Art Team Mural Projects and became assistant of Artist Nyan Ye Naing.Since then, art has become an important part of my life and one of the most meaningful ways I express myself. Painting allows me to turn emotions, memories, and inspiration into something visual and lasting. Growing up in Yangon shaped the way I see and feel art. The places I have experienced, the memories I carry, and the peaceful moments I notice in nature often become the starting point of my paintings. I feel especially connected to mountains, flowers, and quiet natural scenery, and these subjects appear often in my work because they bring me a sense of calm and inspiration. Nature has always been one of the biggest influences behind my artwork. I enjoy observing landscapes and translating their feeling and atmosphere onto canvas through acrylic paint. Alongside acrylic painting, I also work with pencil and enjoy exploring different forms of art including landscapes, murals and portraits. For me, art is both personal and a continuous journey. Since beginning my painting practice in 2022, I have spent time learning, experimenting, and growing through every artwork I create. I am proud of how much I have developed through hard work and practice, and I continue to build my artistic voice with every new piece.
