A Girl in the Sunlight
When I visited the Lokanat Gallery at that time, I saw the sunlight that was deeply warm, and made me felt isolated. That was the reason why I made this painting. My gf sat in this sunlight for me to create this beautiful artwork and this could be regarded as the first painting of my sunlight series.
Hein Htet
Hein Htet was born in 2000 in Khayan, Yangon. He studied fundamental drawing under Aung Naing Maung for about two months in 2021. Since then, he has continued learning independently. Alongside painting, Hein Htet has co-curated 15 art exhibitions with Nawaday Tharlar Gallery at AIA Khit. He has participated in five group exhibitions: 1st – We Live in Burma (2024) at Ahnanda Art Space 2nd – ON E[ART]H at Izana Gallery 3rd – Diversity and All Inclusive at Spaces-31 4th – MM Project (Earthquake Charity Exhibition) at M Tower 5th – We Live in Burma (2025) at Goethe-Institut Myanmar He continues to learn and create new art through his experiences.
